Since leaving EIB in 2019, Paola has worked as an independent consultant, undertaking several short and part-time assignments providing strategic advice on investing in frontier markets to a wide range of actors, including private equity firms, consultancies, DFIs, and governments. Her work has focused mostly on  training and coaching fund managers to make them investment ready.
